China’s aviation authority has confirmed {that a} China Jap Airways Boeing 737 passenger aircraft has crashed, with 132 individuals on board, together with 123 passengers and 9 crew members.
Contact was misplaced with the flight over Wuzhou, within the Guangxi area, the authority mentioned. It was scheduled to fly from Kunming to Guangzhou.
The Civil Aviation Administration mentioned it had “activated the emergency mechanism and dispatched a working group to the scene,” in response to a translation.
