Cyprus reportedly discovers a Covid variant that mixes omicron and delta

A researcher in Cyprus has found a pressure of the coronavirus that mixes the delta and omicron variant, Bloomberg News reported on Saturday.

Leondios Kostrikis, professor of organic sciences on the College of Cyprus, known as the pressure “deltacron,” due to its omicron-like genetic signatures throughout the delta genomes, Bloomberg stated.
