DETROIT – General Motors CEO and Chair Mary Barra on Thursday mentioned she has no plans to retire any time quickly as she tries to make sure the corporate’s transformation is on “a very good path.”

Barra, who’s the longest tenured CEO exterior of the corporate’s founder, has been requested about retirement for a number of years. The questions have grown as executives of rivals have come and gone beneath Barra’s more than 10-year tenure main GM.
