The U.S. Division of the Treasury on Tuesday introduced Sequence I bonds can pay 6.89% annual curiosity via April 2023, down from the 9.62% yearly rate supplied since Could.
It is the third highest charge since I bonds have been launched in 1998, and buyers might lock on this charge for six months by buying anytime earlier than the tip of April.
